Burlington News  We are very proud to welcome Jacqui Gowan to the restaurant.Jacqui, formerly Head Chef at Sydney restaurant Subsolo and a popular regular on Channel 10’s Ready Steady Cook, will be working closely with co-owner Lela Radojkovic, to give the Burlington a new relaxed bistro feel. ‘I’ve always wanted to run in a ‘local’ restaurant.  I know how important it is for locals to have a regular restaurant of good quality’ ‘I will take a more relaxed approach to the food at The Burlington, The menu will evolve with variety, season and availability.  It will be about casual dining done really well, says Jacqui. Jacqui started her career at Darling Mills in Glebe, and from there went on to be second in charge at the Bathers’ Pavilion in Balmoral. She then moved to head the busy kitchen of Garfish at Kirribilli.  She is certainly no stranger to what diners north of the bridge are looking for in a great local restaurant. With decades of experience in the industry between them Lela and Jacqui are excited to be embarking on this next chapter together. ‘I really love what I do and to have someone to share the same passion, professionalism and vision in the industry is a bonus.  I can’t wait to see what sort of dynamics two women will have to bring to the tables at the Burlington’ says Lela

Our new bar is open!

Visit our bar any from 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. The Burlington Bar has finally opened its doors to offer a unique opportunity to enjoy a drink before dinner or relaxing cocktail in the bar. Sample some of our unique eclectic wines by the glass and some amazing small dishes.....

Try Chef’s dill marinated white anchovies, Wagyu beef sausage rolls, crumbed Sicilian olives or trout rillettes on grilled sourdough. A great way to end a day at work... 

$25 Lunch Special 

From February and to celebrate our reopening of lunch trade, we will offer a $25 lunch special every day, Monday to Friday. That’s right, every day of the week. Each week chef will come up with a dish or two matched with a glass of boutique wine.We will deliver it quickly or leisurely, whether you only have an hour or three...... Keep watching for our first dishes in the first week in February.....
